On-site support is not an add-on or a premium tier. Every CIO Tech Assured client gets it as standard. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Hardware installs and replacements

New workstations, monitors, printers, access points. We deliver, set up, configure, and test on-site. Your staff picks up where they left off without needing to call IT again.

Network troubleshooting

Slow Wi-Fi, dropped connections, switch failures, cabling issues. Some network problems cannot be diagnosed remotely. We come to your office, test the physical infrastructure, and fix it on the spot.

Server and infrastructure work

On-premise server maintenance, UPS checks, rack tidying, firmware updates. If your business still runs physical servers, our engineers work on them hands-on. Not everything can be done through a remote session.

New office setups and relocations

Moving offices or opening a new location? We handle the full IT setup: internet, networking, workstations, printers, meeting room tech. Your team walks in on day one and everything works.

On-site visits are not billed separately. They are part of your Assured plan. No call-out fees, no hourly rates, no surprises on the invoice.

Remote-only IT has limits

Remote support handles most day-to-day issues. But some problems need someone physically present. The question is whether your IT provider can actually turn up when that happens.

Hardware fails

A dead switch, a failing drive, a printer that will not connect. Remote access cannot physically swap a component. Someone needs to be there.

Network issues

If your internet or internal network is down, remote support cannot connect to anything. The only way to diagnose and fix it is to be on-site with testing equipment.

New setups

Setting up a new office, onboarding 10 staff, or rolling out new hardware across a floor. These are hands-on jobs that need an engineer in the room.

Break-fix companies

Break-fix providers charge per visit. That creates a perverse incentive: the more things break, the more they earn. And they only show up after something has gone wrong. CIO Tech monitors proactively and visits are included. We want fewer problems, not more billable hours.

Remote-only MSPs

Some managed service providers operate entirely remotely, often from interstate or offshore. They are fine until you need someone at your desk. Then you are on your own, or paying a contractor who has never seen your environment before.

Is on-site support included or is it extra?
On-site support is included in every CIO Tech Assured plan. There are no call-out fees and no per-visit charges. When an issue needs hands-on attention, we send an engineer. It is part of the service, not a line item on your invoice.
How quickly can you get to my office?
We offer same-day on-site response across the Sydney metro area. For businesses in Western Sydney, including Parramatta, Blacktown, Penrith, Castle Hill, and Liverpool, we are typically on-site within hours. Greater Sydney is covered the same business day.
Do you cover areas outside Western Sydney?
Yes. Our primary coverage area is Western Sydney, but we support businesses across the entire Sydney metro area, including the CBD, North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, and Southern Sydney. Response times may vary slightly depending on distance, but same-day on-site remains the standard.
What if the issue can be fixed remotely?
We always try remote resolution first. Most issues can be handled that way, and it is faster for you. On-site visits happen when the problem genuinely requires physical access, like hardware replacement, network cabling, or a new device rollout. You get both, included in the same plan.
